On the historical calendar date of 12.12.12. City of Win ambassador Mig Mora will be dropping his solo project, aptly and ominously titled Music for the End of the World.
In the pre-apocalyptic time between now and then, check out “Kingdom” - which is also one of the featured tracks on City of Win’s W1N Vol. 1 Mixtape. Featuring noble contributions from Scheme and Chandler London, “Kingdom” is a seamless collection of politically charged verses aimed at Chicago politics. The track marries hard-hitting proclamations with smooth transitions that summon the sadness beneath the resentment felt toward unaided neighborhood struggles.
With authentic interest and an educated point-of-view, Mora proves to be an eloquent and enthralling emcee who proudly represents the Chicago hip-hop scene. CHECK OUT THE VIDEO for “Kingdom” for a taste of what’s to come in December.
